Display Annotation Toolbar in FaxUtil

By default, the annotation toolbar is disabled (hidden). To enable annotation, follow the steps below:
  1. Open Registry editor
  2. Navigate to: 32bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\RightFax Client\VWR32 64bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node
    \RightFax Client\VWR32
  3. Double click on the EnableAnnotations subkey and change value from 0 to 1
  4. Close Registry Editor and re-open FaxUtil

Incorrect Printer Driver

Problem: when RightFax 9.4 or later is installed on a Windows 2008 R2 server, an incorrect printer drive error may occur such as:
•  Failed fax conversions or incorrect conversions
•  WorkServer errors in the event viewer for RightFax WorkServer Module.
Cause: Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 7 do not have the HP LaserJet 4 driver by default.
Solution: Add a new local printer using LPT printer port. Then choose “Windows Update” on the next screen if LaserJet 4 is not available under the Manufacturer “HP”. Select HP LaserJet 4 and complete adding the printer without sharing.
